Dr. Richa Grover, ND in Peterborough

Hello and welcome to Horizon Family Naturopathic Clinic.

I’m Dr. Richa Grover, ND, MD (India), a dedicated naturopathic doctor committed to helping you live well and feel better naturally. With a particular interest in women’s health, hormone balance and pain support, I work with patients of all ages, from infancy to old age.

Drawing on my unique background as an MD from India and my advanced training in Naturopathic Medicine here in Canada, I strive to create a balance between conventional and naturopathic medicine, working as a team with my patients’ doctors and healthcare providers to support optimal health and wellness.

My team and I look forward to discovering the root cause of your health concerns and providing effective solutions tailored to your journey to health and wellness.

Your path to health and wellness starts when you book your initial visit

Your initial visit will last for about 75 minutes and will start with an in-depth conversation to help your Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to gain a deeper understanding of your:

  • Current state of health and wellness including your digestion, stress levels, mental health, hormonal health, cardiovascular health, and more
  • Current health concerns
  • Personal medical history
  • Family medical history
  • Lifestyle including diet and sleep habits
  • Current medications and supplements

Then, your ND will complete a physical examination to assess your vitals and weight.

If needed, lab work will be ordered to gain additional information about vitamin, mineral and hormone levels.

Once your ND has completed their assessment, they can get to the root cause of your problem and recommend the most appropriate solutions and services to help you address your symptoms, regain balance and restore optimal health and wellness.

A follow-up visit will be scheduled and your ND will remain available to answer your questions and monitor your progress at every step along the way.
